Staying active and engaged in your community is a central pillar to maintaining your brain health. There are so many free and fun activities happening in and around the city – so, in this episode, I will be sharing five ways to stay mentally and physically active over the summer months. While it is so important that we stay mentally and physically engaged all year round, the summer months are a perfect time to get out into the world to explore, learn, move your body and be with friends & family.

In this episode, I will share my top 5 tips for staying engaged in Toronto, Ontario (Canada) this summer, including:

  1. Engaging in the arts (e.g., museums, galleries)
  2. Taking in some outdoor entertainment
  3. Getting your body moving
  4. Attending festivals
  5. Soaking in some educational lectures

BONUS – most of my suggestions are free or low cost.
